A young Rosie with a young Anna
Our fourteen year old german shepherd has taken a sudden bad turn. We are going to have to put her to sleep. I think our town has an emergency vet, if so my husband will take her tonight. If not then he will take her first thing in the morning.
I knew this day was coming, but I am still extremely sad.
My heart hurts for you. And I’m crying.

I’m so sorry. We just had to put our 14 year old australian shepherd down…. It was so sad…. My son walked around the house moping and saying ‘I miss Cowboy…’
We filled the hole in his heart a month later when we got him a 1 year old boxer!

I am so sorry for your pain.
I appreciate your kind words. It was a tough time for all of us, but we also realize she was very old and while the circumstances of why we had to do it then were awful, she had been in pain for a while before the accident. At least now she has no pain at all.
